The Dutchess County SPCA’s Annual Petwalk & Canine Carnival is a Doggone Good Time! The first Petwalk was held in 1994 and has been held ever since. At Petwalk, every dog is a winner and your dog will win prizes just for trying our fun activities. We hope you will join us for this fun event. There is no minimum donation required, we’d love to have you come and enjoy the day with your dog. There will be many other ways to contribute when you arrive, such as playing one of the many interactive games, buying food, etc. With a paid registration, you and your dog will receive a bag stuffed with goodies and a pass to enjoy all of the games. Pre-registration is open until 11:55 pm on Wednesday, October 5 or your can complete a registration form on Saturday.
You don’t need to bring a dog to have a good time. Come and check out all the vendors, watch the demonstrations, and share the fun with your friends. If you can’t join us at the Petwalk, you can still help the homeless animals by becoming a virtual walker.
Join us in thanking our very generous Sponsors! Without their support, this day would not be possible. Check out the list of the Vendors joining in the festivities. Stop by and see what they have to offer.
Bringing your dog to Paws in the Park Petwalk & Canine Carnival is a great way to spend a day having fun with your best friend while helping to raise funds for the homeless animals of Dutchess County. Every dog is a winner! Activities include interactive games such as Puppies of the Caribbean, Catcher’s Mutt and Go, Dog, Go! There are contest like Best Tail Wagger, Best Costume and everyone’s favorite Kanine Karaoke. The day begins at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 7, 2017, Bowdoin Park, 85 Sheafe Road, Wappingers Falls, NY. Contests begin at Noon and the Walk for the Animals of Dutchess County will begin at 1:30 pm. We hope to see you there!
